ABOUT ME

I'm Allie, a 30-something writer and Sometimes-Adult.
I grew up in the Midwest, amid cornfields and soybeans, and often dreamed my backyard was the entrance to a thousand fantastical worlds. I graduated from Wheaton College with a bachelor's degree in English with a Writing Concentration in 2013. I've had several small publications in fiction and poetry, and am currently working on a YA novel.

I now live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and two FANTABULOUS dogs, Ezra and Siggi. I spend my days banging my head against a keyboard, drinking way too much coffee, and waxing eloquent about my pups.

One day I might get this whole life thing figured out, but until then I can write about the missteps and enjoy the journey. Thanks for joining me!
